Four-day science exploration course in Prague for international high school students

Are you starting your 3rd or 4th year of high school this autumn and do you love biology and/or chemistry? Do you want to work with precision instruments in the lab and gain experience in field research? Do you want to visit Prague with your parents?

Then the Hands-on Science summer event at the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague will be the inspiration you’re looking for!

When? From August 12 to August 15, 2024

Where? Laboratories, lecture halls and experimental facilities at the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources of ČZU in Prague, Czechia

What can you look forward to?

1. Insects as farm animals

2. Water cycle tracking: soil – plant – atmosphere

3. Treatment of wastewater

4. Bio-waste as a valuable raw material

5. Maintaining quality of animal products

6. Meteorology, the role of weather, a prognostics portal for researchers and the public
